MARCHER PUIS DISPARAÎTRE – 2013 – film (45min) / installation.
FILM – Le film Marcher puis disparaître déroule la trajectoire d’un homme qui, arrivant du lointain, traverse le quotidien d’une petite ville turque (Sereflikoçhisar) dont il observe les usages et les lieux au lever du jour : un café, l’ancienne mosquée, les rues qui s’animent, une boulangerie, les jeux sur les tables des cafés. L’homme gagne les limites de la ville que dessine le ballet des camions puis reprend la route, s’enfonce dans les terres et s’éloigne peu à peu de la civilisation ; il traverse un village abandonné puis, à la nuit tombée, franchit l’œcumène et découvre un immense lac salé où il s’abandonne lui-même au climat. À travers ce chemin, le marcheur crée le lien entre la ville et le lac et ouvre alors un dialogue entre des symboles opposés : collectif et individu, concret et abstrait, réel et théorique, documentaire et ficionnel.
INSTALLATION – L’installation Marcher puis disparaître invite à découvrir le film dans sa linéarité accompagné des traces, témoignages et éléments de sa fabrication. Dans l’installation se mêlent trois sculptures (des bâtons de marche manipulées dans le film par le personnage principal), plusieurs photographies témoignant du contexte du tournage et en particulier de la ville de Sereflikochisar, trois impressions 3D déposées sur une vue aérienne du lac salé, lieu du tournage et le film lui-même. Ce dispositif est sans cesse en mutation et en recherche.

MARCHER PUIS DISPARAÎTRE – 2013 – film (45min) / installation.
FILM – (English title : To walk then disappear) The film Marcher puis disparaître unfolds the trajectory of a man who, coming from the distance, goes through the daily life of a small Turkish city (Sereflikoçhisar) whose customs and places he observes at dawn : a café, the old mosque, streets coming alive, a bakery, games on some café tables. The man reaches the boundaries of the city that draws the ballet of trucks, and then hits the road back, heading for no man’s lands : he crosses and abandoned village and, at the sunset, breaks through the ecumene and discovers a vast salt lake where he abandons himself to climate. Through his path, the walker links together the city and the lake et then starts a dialog between opposite symbols : the collective and the individual, the concrete and the abstract, the real and the theoretical, the documentary and the fictional.
INSTALLATION – In the installation Marcher puis disparaître the film is shown linearly, accompanied by traces and elements of its making. In the installation are gathered three sculptures (walking sticks manipulated by the main character in the film), several photographs showing the context of the shooting and particularly the city of Sereflikochisar and three 3D prints left on an aerial view of the salt lake Tuz Gölü. This display is constantly mutating.
